Not quite yet, because the Husband bought a turkey today. It was $.69/lb, and it's not Thanksgiving if he doesn't get to fry a turkey! Yeah, we southern.
Dude, yesterday was hard. Harder than I thought it would be. Despite the previous post, it is hard to remember that I do have things to be thankful for. Hard when I am putting up our stockings and there are only 3. Last year, even, there were 4 - the Husband had make a stocking full of little baby things like toys, and socket covers, and tiny nail clippers, and stuff, because he is the BOMB. And it's all down in the fucking basement instead of where it should be. SHIT.
The Kid is here for the weekend, and continues to be a balm on my soul, so there is that. And Satan is spending the night on Christmas Eve so the Kid can have one big Christmas morning. Satan is good for my soul, as well. She's a really good friend, not sure if there are words to describe how awesome she has been. We cuddled up on the couch yesterday and gossiped about everyone else and made the Husband generally wary, as he usually is when his 2 wives get together and get giggly. We do love to torture the poor boy.
Off to decorate the tree. Smell ya later.
