Giving Thanks

Yeah, RIGHT.

Okay, sorry, humility has returned.

Here you go - the things I am thankful for this year:

1) For some reason, I always type it thanksful, which makes me giggle.
2) I am on vacation. I have the flu, but I am a hale and hearty sort, despite my obvious reproductive issues, so it is a very mild case.
3) I guess, that the flu is a mild one.
4) that the Kid is 8, which is my new favorite age. She rules.
5) that it is almost 2009
6) that we both still have jobs, and have not had pay cuts or anything
7) that my sister is okay after going sort of crazy earlier this year
8) that my marriage, so far, is strong enough not to get beaten by the aftermath. Oh, how very lucky we are
9) that my new therapist is the bomb. Seriously, why did I not think of going to a guy before? I ALWAYS relate better to men. Weird, because I have no brothers. But yeah, guys rule.
10) that the rest of my family is happy and healthy

Seriously, the flu? WTF, universe? Seriously, though, it's a freaking cakewalk - I would go to work as normal if I were not on vacation. Don't tell my husband, though, because I am enjoying the poor pitiful me treatment all sick people are entitled to.
